My dad visited us this weekend, and he gave me several beautiful vintage items from my grandmothers house. Two vintage books, crochet laces and three vintage frames. I've used one of these frames here on this layout.
By the way, this layout will never fit in my album, and I don't have a clue what to do with it. I got the idea with the frame as soon as I held it in my hand, and I knew already then that there would be a problem with the size, but I just couldn't let it pass.
The photo of me is also from my dad. Not sure how old I am, but I would love to have that hair back!
Supplies: Bazzill Basics, Studio2Mers Créations, Tim Holtz, 7 Gypsies, Hambly Screen Prints, Basic Grey, Prima Marketing Inc, Papier Valise, Making Memories Paper and Karen Foster.
I've also used coffee on the tags and some of the laces.

The Maniagirls have been sponsored by Making Memories this month. We got some adorable papers from the Paperie Collection, and some flowers, buttons, ribbons and clips. Too cute!
I made a minialbum with winter photos of me as a little girl.

For me, this is a clean and simple layout.
I had a blast playing with coffee and water. And the reason for that, is the new challenge at ScrappeMania from our two new guest designers, Gudrun Loennecken and Lene Solhaug. We had to make a vintage layout without using distressing. A huge challenge for me. My distress inks are always right in front of me, and I really had to concentrate to not use them. Serioulsy, they were in my hands several times - I'm obviously addicted!
But, I did it! No ink! We also had to use something really old. I've used a piece from a crochet bedspread that my great-grandmother made and some really old stamps that my grandmother gave me.
