{{ Invincible }}

Invincible - for One Little Word.

Such a powerful word I think. And without making it too personal, I think I'll stop with that...

I made the background with lots of different vintage paper, distress crackle paint and wax paper.

Supplies: Bazzill Basics Paper, Xtina Designs, Making Memories, Tim Holtz, Clearsnap, Prima Marketing Inc, Papier Valise, Heidi Swapp, 7 Gypsies, Hambly Screen Prints, Maya Road and Papirloftet.

Feels good to be creative again though. <3

Photoshop Frame 5

Good morning!

I soon have something new to show you, maybe later today, but first I want to share another photoshop frame with you. This is one of the frames I made for Fotoverden a few weeks ago actually. You can see it here. Thank you, Nina. ;)

Just enlarge the photo before you download it, and use this tutorial.
Please mention my name when you use this frame, or one of my others.

{{ Takk }}

This is it..
This is the last challenge from us, the last challenge from ScrappeMania..

It's hard to explain how it feels right now, but I think we did the right thing - for us. We neither had the time or the energy to continue. So, I decide to appreciate the fun we had and all the inspiration we shared.

We chose the word "Takk" (Thank you) for this last challenge, and of course I had to use the photos from the blog.
I will always follow these girls, see the amazing things they make and get even more inspired by them!

Takk
jenter/Thank you girls.

My layout;

Supplies: Bazzill Basics Paper, Xtina Designs, Glue Dots, Fiskars, Prima Marketing Inc, Papirloftet, Hambly Screen Prints, Jenni Bowlin, Maya Road, 7 Gypsies, Making Memories and Tim Holtz.

My Scraproom

Hi everyone.

This is totally weird. I'm actually blogging? My previous post was from, oh let me just see - June 3. What happened?

Well..

Summer happened
Vacation happened
3 little, stubborn boys happened
No place to scrapbook happened
Redecorating the house happened (I'll come back to this one..)
Tiredness happened
Illness happened

And so much more.

I haven't scrapbooked once this summer. Still to this very day, nothing. And the sad thing is that I didn't even miss it.

So, I hope this project of mine, that I've been working on these last few days, will solve all my scrapbooking problems...

MY VERY OWN SCRAPROOM! ;D

Finally!

The shelves I got from my brother, and I painted it white only once to keep that vintage look on it. My brother also installed those cute lights.

This is how it looks right now. Sadly (or maybe not) I still need more shelves for all my stuff, but I can take care of that later. Right now I'm just so glad to have this all to myself.

This is where I'm supposed to be creative from now on. Let's hope so. The desk is from Ikea. I just love it! More than enought space for all the cluster I leave behind after a layout.

Loves flowers! <3

Absolutely adore this clothes hanger. I have many of them, and the plan is to make some of them white or black.

Using what I have in this room...

So, what do you think?
I would love to hear some ideas. For instance, what to do with my patterned paper and cardstock?

And thanks to everyone who read my blog, and leave me comments. I so appreciate it. <3

I hope my next post will contain a new layout or two. If not, I can always show you the pictures from our trip to Crete in Greece this summer.

{{ Happy Elephant }}

The word up at ScrappeMania this month is Happy. Make sure you take a look at what the other girls made, they're all awesome! For this challenge we were sponsored by Nunn Design.

Look at my adorable little elephant. :) Too cute!

Supplies: Basic Grey, Creative Imaginations, Clearsnap, Tattered Angels, Hambly Screen Prints, Nunn Design, Papirloftet, American Crafts, Magic Mesh, Making Memories, Kort & Godt and 7 Gypsies.

{{ Reflection }}

Still a huge fan of One Little Word.
Word up this time is Reflect.

"Children are LOVE made visible"

I just love playing with purple these days. It doesn't feel as girly as pink, so I think it works for my boys too.

Thank you Grandma for the fabric, the crochet work and the old postage stamp. :)

Details..

Supplies: Ranger, Tattered Angels, Bazzill Basics Paper, Papirloftet, Crafty Individuals, Clearsnap, Blue Moon Beads, Prima Marketing Inc, Basic Grey, Making Memories, Kort & Godt, Glue Dots, Petaloo and Jenni Bowlin.

Jeg har igjen 7 av de 15 vintage kit'ene jeg la ut for salg. :) Ta en titt!

Photoshop Frame 4

A new frame, just for you. :) Thought the butterflies would be great for all the summer layouts to come.

{{ All Because Two People Fell In Love }}

One Little Word is celebrating its second birthday (Happy Birthday girls), so therefore the word "Two" this time.

I'm so inspired by this blog. The girls always choose the most amazing words, and the layouts are a sight for sore eyes - always gorgeous and unique!

I hope the words keep coming for a long time..

Here is my take on the word "Two";

Have been waiting for the right moment to use this photo of me and Mikael, and this seemed to be just that. And I took a chance on pink since it's just the hands. I'll deal with that battle later if my boy doesn't like it. :p

Supplies: Prima Marketing Inc, Clearsnap, Heidi Swapp, Hambly Screen Prints, Tattered Angelsk, Crafty Individuals, Papirloftet, American Crafts, My Little Shoebox, Ranger, Papier Valise and Basic Grey.

Photoshop Frame 3

Been updating my blog today, so I thought I would celebrate it by sharing another Photoshop Frame with you. This is the one I used in the tutorial.

Enlarge the photo first, and remember to save it as a PNG-file.

Please leave me a comment if you decide to download this frame (of any of the other ones), and also mention my name when it's beeing used.

Photoshop Frame Tutorial

Would you like to learn how to easily put a frame on your photos?

Like this one;

I've learned the first part of this tutorial from Kristine, and it's so easy once you've done it a couple of times. The last part here is easy too. All you need is Adobe Photoshop, and you're ready.

You can enlarge all the photos. Makes it easier to see the small details (buttons you're supposed to click on, the order of the layers and so on).

1. Open the picture you want to use in Photoshop.

2. Press Ctrl+J to make a copy of the picture (Layer 1).

3. Remove the "eye" from the bottom layer (background).

4. Open the frame you want to use (this should be a PNG-file).

5. Click on the Move Tool.

6. Drag the frame over to your photo, and then press Ctrl+T. This will allow you to change the size of the frame so that you can make it fit perfectly.

7. When you're done draging the frame over the whole picture, press enter.

8. Drag the layer at the top (Layer 2) below the other layer (Layer 1). It should now look like this in the Layers Window (Layer 1, Layer 2, Background).

9. Right-click on Layer 1 and click on Create Clipping Mask (or Ctrl+G).

10. The frame should be in the right place now. Don't forget to save.

If you want to change the color of the frame then keep reading...

11. Continue exactly where you left it (don't close the picture you were working on). Make another copy of the picture (press Ctrl+J).

12. Drag the newest layer (Layer 1 Copy) below Layer 2. The order should now be Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 1 Copy and Background.

13. Find the color you want from the Color Picker.

14. Click on the Paint Bucket Tool.

15. Now all you have to do is click at the photo where you know the frame is suppose to be. The frame and the color you chose will appear.

16. We're all done! Save!!

I've shared two different frames with you. It's okay to download them, but I hope you will mention my name when you use them.
