{{ My First Snow }}

This month has been, and still is, so hectic that I can't even find 5 minutes to clear my head. It's been all about work, family and Christmas. I've had a few days off now - really needed that, but tomorrow I start working again. I don't think my scraps will appear on the table again before next year, unfortunately. I miss it, but right now I don't have the energy..

I dont't like to leave an "empty" post without any photos, so I'll show you yet another layout of mine that were published in the latest issue of "Vi Scrapper" - My First Snow.

Supplies: Hambly Screen Prints, Ranger, Maya Road, 3ndypapir, Papier Valise, Provo Craft, Making Memories, Creative Impressions, Jenni Bowlin and Prima Marketing Inc.

I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas, and I wish you a fantastic New Year!!

{{ Angels Sent From Heaven }}

13 days until Christmas and 6 days until Nikolai turns five! Still haven't bought a single present, or have anything planned out. Any ideas?? I don't have a clue how to entertain a house full of kids! Eeek! I need to bake something fast and easy, and I need something fun for the kids to do.

I haven't made anything new in a long time either, but I want to show you another layout that was published in the latest issue of "Vi Scrapper". I'm so honored to be in the magazine, so happy that they picked some of my work! :) The layout is called "Angels Sent From Heaven", and this one also has a personal meaning to me..

Supplies: Prima Marketing Inc, Bazzill Basics Paper, Panduro, Ranger, Fancy Pants, Basic Grey and Making Memories.

Look out for a Blog Candy soon ---------------->

{{ Fall to Pieces }}

This is one of my layouts that were published in the latest issue of the Norwegian scrapbooking magazine Vi Scrapper. The layout is very personal to me, and there's a story behind it, but I won't tell you about that part today..

I haven't really done much on this one. I just teard some of the background paper and added lot of small pieces of paper, tickets, overlays, ribbons and laces. And then there's the text that I printed out from the computer.

Supplies: Ranger, Studio2Mers Créations, Papier Valise, Autumn Leaves, Jenni Bowlin, Prima Marketing Inc, Making Memories, Queen & Co. and Hambly Screen Prints.

I want to thank all of you who read my blog and leave me all these wonderful comments. I really appreciate it, and it helps me a lot when my inspiration is missing..

xoxo

{{ Angelic Hair }}

My dad visited us this weekend, and he gave me several beautiful vintage items from my grandmothers house. Two vintage books, crochet laces and three vintage frames. I've used one of these frames here on this layout.

By the way, this layout will never fit in my album, and I don't have a clue what to do with it. I got the idea with the frame as soon as I held it in my hand, and I knew already then that there would be a problem with the size, but I just couldn't let it pass.

The photo of me is also from my dad. Not sure how old I am, but I would love to have that hair back!

Supplies: Bazzill Basics, Studio2Mers Créations, Tim Holtz, 7 Gypsies, Hambly Screen Prints, Basic Grey, Prima Marketing Inc, Papier Valise, Making Memories Paper and Karen Foster.

I've also used coffee on the tags and some of the laces.

{{ Winter Wonderland }}

The Maniagirls have been sponsored by Making Memories this month. We got some adorable papers from the Paperie Collection, and some flowers, buttons, ribbons and clips. Too cute!

I made a minialbum with winter photos of me as a little girl.

Supplies: Making Memories, Bazzill Basics Paper, 7 Gypsies, Papier Valise, Ranger, Imaginisce, Zig, Maya Road, Scenic Route and Prima Marketing Inc.

{{ Love is in the Air }}

For me, this is a clean and simple layout.
I had a blast playing with coffee and water. And the reason for that, is the new challenge at ScrappeMania from our two new guest designers, Gudrun Loennecken and Lene Solhaug. We had to make a vintage layout without using distressing. A huge challenge for me. My distress inks are always right in front of me, and I really had to concentrate to not use them. Serioulsy, they were in my hands several times - I'm obviously addicted!

But, I did it! No ink! We also had to use something really old. I've used a piece from a crochet bedspread that my great-grandmother made and some really old stamps that my grandmother gave me.

Supplies: Jenni Bowlin, Making Memories, Hambly Screen Prints, Panduro, Prima Marketing Inc, Tim Holtz, Papier Valise and 7 Gypsies.

Happy Birthday Adrian!!!

Happy Birthday Adrian!! Mom, dad and your brothers love you so much! :D

My little boy is not so little anymore. Today he's 3 years old, but I often think of him as my baby, still. We celebrated with the closest family yesterday, so the house is now filled with cookies and lego.

I often think back to when he was born, and the pregnancy. The last months I went in and out of the hospital because of premature labour, and the doctors were so sure I would never carry through the whole pregnancy. But, Adrian fooled everyone, and he was born only one week before the term.

He's a really independent boy now, he wants to do everything by himself. He knows how to charm his mom, especially when he wants juice and biscuits. Just one look into those brown bambi-eyes of his, and it's very hard to say no.

I've made a layout of my man for a change. I got the idea for the title from Nabon. I made the pictures look old by using this page. Had so much fun making this one, love playing with several layers.

Supplies: Basic Grey, Prima Marketing Inc, Provo Craft, Dream Street Papers, Papier Valise, Jenni Bowlin, Hambly Screen Prints, Making Memories, 7 Gypsies and Tim Holtz.

And take a look here, one of my layouts used as inspiration.

Lene, aka Nabon, is one of my favourite Norwegian scrappers, and when she posted this great challenge on her blog, and showed us this stunning prize, I just had to give it a try. Lene is amazing when it comes to layers and embellish, and that is something I really like too. So, do check out her blog, and leave some comments.. This girl is great!!

I've been saving this paper from Pink Paislee for so long now, just waiting for the right layout in my mind. And I can't seem to get enough of these vintage pictures.. Oh, oh, and those Mulberry roses!! I need more!! Can anyone help me??

{{ Too Perfect to Change a Thing }}

This is a layout I made for One Little Word, and the word is Change.

Thank you Ingvild for selling me some of these lovely Prima flowers. Now I just need to learn how to decorate them better.

Haven't got time to write more about it right now, because I'm working on a new layout for Nabons challenge, and I have to keep going while the ideas are still fresh in my head!!!

Supplies: Bazzill Basics Paper, Creative Imaginations, Tim Holtz, Cat's Eye, Provo Craft, Prima Marketing Inc, Maya Road, Xtina Designs (lol), Basic Grey and Making Memories.

{{ Because of You }}

There's a new word up at ScrappeMania - Fordi/Because. I hope you Norwegian girls will give it a try. The prize is an amazing vintage kit from Bad Girls Kits! :D

I choose a beautiful picture of my youngest son this time. He's at home with me every day, and he just makes me so happy. He has this big smile on his face all the time, and he is the only child in this family who still likes to cuddle. I'll have to enjoy it while it lasts..

I'm quite happy with the result on this one. Scrapping on a circle isn't something I do often, but it was really fun! There will definitely be more, you just wait and see.

Supplies: Making Memories, Bazzill Basics Paper, Tim Holtz, Proco Craft, K&Company, Cosmo Cricket, Papier Valise, Zig, Heidi Swapp, Hambly Screen Prints, American Tag Company, Petaloo, Prima Marketing, Kort & Godt, Melissa Frances, Maya Road and Cat's Eye.
